A NEW ‘law store’ is set to open in Bromley town centre so people can get free legal advice along with their shopping.

MTA Solicitors will open the LawStore in The Glades shopping centre on November 1, where people can drop-in for a free 30 minute legal consultation without making an appointment.

Mike Payne, LawStore project leader, says the aim is to make getting legal advice easy and take away the “stigma of stern, suited lawyers” and “legal jargon”.

He said: “It makes sense to adopt this approach when offering legal services and bring the solicitor to the shopper who will find the whole experience a lot less daunting than they imagined.”
