A CYCLE safety awareness campaign has been launched to improve road safety in the capital.
Transport for London (TfL) has introduced new lorry driver training which includes a cycle safety awareness training module.
And posters are being put up around the city urging cyclists to not undertake lorries at junctions.
The launch of the autumn campaign comes as figures reveal that since January last year 13 of the 23 cyclists who were killed on London's roads died following collisions with lorries.
Kulveer Ranger, the Mayor of London’s transport advisor, said: “As ever more people take to two wheels it is important we do everything we can to improve cycle safety in the capital.”
