A 44-YEAR-OLD woman from Woolwich will appear in court accused of slavery and people trafficking offences.
Rebecca Balira, of Woolwich New Road, has been charged with trafficking into the UK for the purposes of domestic exploitation.
She has also been charged with one count of holding someone in slavery or requiring them to perform forced labour, under section 71 of the Coroners and Justice Act 2009.
Balira will also face two charges of assault by beating when she appears at City of Westminster Magistrates' Court on November 5.
