OCCUPATIONAL therapists will be at the Civic Centre in Bromley this Friday (Nov 5) to give advice to people with disabilities.
Representatives from Bromley Council’s occupational therapy service will be on hand from 10am to 2pm to give tips on supporting people with permanent and substantial physical disabilities.
A council spokeswoman said: “The service looks at what someone can do and then builds on their abilities by advising on ways of doing everyday tasks more safely and effectively.
“This includes recommending equipment or adaptations to a property and giving advice and recommendations on housing.”
Members of the council’s service will also give advice on becoming an occupational therapist. For more information, call 020 8461 7011.
