MARATHON runners are being urged to raise money for a hospice.
People competing in the London marathon on April 17 next year will receive fundraising advice and support if they chose to raise cash for the Greenwich and Bexley Community Hospice in Bostall Hill, Abbey Wood.
Fundraising Manager at the Hospice, Howard King, said: “Running for your local hospice can make your marathon experience even more rewarding and you’re guaranteed to meet loads of great new people along the way.
“Our aim is to help all our runners be as well prepared as possible on race day and to have an enjoyable race.”
