YOUNGSTERS have designed their own logo to help save their school swimming pool.
Midfield Primary School in Grovelands Road, St Paul’s Cray needs to raise £10,000 to pay for urgent repairs to its outdoor pool.
The cash would be spent on a new pool liner, a new set of steps, changing rooms and pumps.
Their logo will be printed professionally on cotton bags to be sold at the school for £2 each.
So far the News Shopper-backed campaign has raised £700.
A series of fundraising events are planned including a carnival day on Thursday where pupils are coming to school in fancy dress.
