BREAST cancer patients and health workers took to the catwalk to raise money for Farnborough’s Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH).
The Glades shopping centre in Bromley hosted the fashion show yesterday, and more than 150 people attended, raising £1,650.
This money goes towards the cost of running a Lymph Node Analyser at PRUH, which allows the results of breast biopsies to be read on the day of the test, avoiding anxious waits.
Breast cancer patient Marie Connor, aged 45, from Orpington, took part in the show and said: “The response from the audience was quite amazing and really helped me to overcome my nerves.”
The show was part of The Glades breast cancer awareness fortnight.
