A NEW substance misuse service for young people has opened in Lewisham.
Parents and carers who are concerned about youngsters misusing drugs or alcohol can access the service, which is based in Lewisham Road.
The Young People’s Substance Misuse Service works with people aged 10 to 21 with a drug or alcohol issue, or people affected by someone else’s drug or alcohol misuse.
It offers outreach work in schools and colleges, advice, information, group work and one to one treatment and counselling for young users.
Charity, Crime Reduction Initiatives, is running the service.
