LEWISHAM Council is offering children free swimming lessons during half term.
Pupils in Year 5 and Year 6 who attend Lewisham schools can take part in the five day course from October 25 to October 29.
The 45 minute lessons are available to 10 and 11-year-olds who are complete beginners or can swim a little already.
Sessions will be held from 9am at Downham Health and Leisure Centre in Moorside Road, Downham.
Ladywell Leisure Centre in Lewisham High Street will also run classes from 9am, 9.45am, 10.30am and 11.15am.
You can book a place between 5pm and 9pm Monday to Friday by calling 07985 631641.
Do not leave a message as you will need to confirm the time, date and venue with the bookings secretary.
