With the eagerly anticipated London Fashion Week just around the corner (September 17-21), the spotlight is now firmly set on British designers and the hottest emerging trends gracing the LFW catwalk.
But if you’re worried about your clothing budget, try taking some style advice from Greenwich Shopping Park’s top fashion retailers - here’s some ideas on bagging a designer look for a fraction of the price.
Shearling chic
This season’s look is all about the sheep-skin. Lined ankle boots, satchel bags and biker style jackets are flying off the shelves right now and Burberry’s aviator jacket has created a real following among fashionistas.

Top tip: Create the perfect contrast in your outfit by teaming heavy, chunkier items with more fitted, feminine pieces. Add a burst of colour with statement jewellery and delicate brooches.
Caped crusader
Feel like super woman this autumn with your own cape style coat.
These fashion favourites are the perfect addition to complete an outfit and add that extra layer of warmth on a chilly evening.
Vivienne Westwood showcased a fantastic range of check and crochet capes on the catwalk earlier this year, but we think this denim-look riding cape, from River Island, is a steal at only £59.99.
The combination of denim and leather is a match made in heaven, and we love the addition of these chino leather shorts, £44.99, also from River Island.
Top tip: Riding boots, oversized aviator glasses and tousled locks will finish off this high fashion, cowgirl look. H&M has a great range of accessories to liven any outfit.
Animal instinct
Unleash your inner wild side as animal print clothing makes a statement this season.
There’s a huge selection of clutch handbags, ballet pumps and printed scarves in the shops but we think less is more with this primal look.
Keep your outfit plain and add a bold accessory to draw attention.
We love this leopard print coat, £45 from New Look, to bring a sophisticated touch to a little black dress or to rock skinny jeans.
Top tip: Keep hair slick and layers tight – there’s nothing worse than looking dishevelled in animal print. We recommend Naked Style Curl Tamer Styling Mousse, £3.99 from Boots.
