WOULD-BE beekeepers thinking of taking up the hobby are invited to come along and find out more at an event later this month.
The Bromley and Orpington Beekeepers Associations hold their annual honey show at Emmanuel Church, The Grove, West Wickham from 10am on September 18.
Two one-hour long talks on beekeeping will take place at 11am and 2.30pm.
There will also be candle making, a raffle, homemade refreshments and honey tasting.
Bromley beekeeper Steve Turner said: “Beekeeping is a marvellous hobby and we hope these free talks will show people that keeping bees in London is perfectly possible as long as you get some advice from established beekeepers.”
