Bexley Council is putting together a strategy looking at a whole raft of factors such as climate change, water supply and quality, the built and natural environment, waste and environmental quality. It says a strategy will help preserve and improve the best of Bexley’s environment as well as encouraging sustainable growth.

Everyone from residents to businesses to voluntary and community groups, is being invited to comment.

The council says the strategy will bring together all of the council’s environmental responsibilities, provide an action plan for the future and provide a single source of information for people about the council’s policies on environmental sustainability.

Details of the consultation can be found at engagespace.co.uk/engage/bexley There will also be copies in libraries, Wyncham House in Longlands Road, Sidcup, and the civic offices contact centre in Bexleyheath Broadway.
