Daniel Herbert was murdered on August 17 last year
TWO men have appeared in court over a nightclub promoter’s murder.
Daniel Herbert, of Holywell Close, Orpington, had been on his way home from Rotherhithe when he was chased by a gang of men.
The 27-year-old was beaten unconscious, dragged to his knees and then shot in the head in Clements Road, Bermondsey, on August 17 last year.
Police charged Bobby Winser, aged 21, from Bermondsey, and Michael Campbell, aged 24, from Camberwell, with murder on Friday (August 27).
They appeared at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on Saturday and are due to appear at the Old Bailey tomorrow (September 1).
