Canon Michael Hart with The Bishop of Woolwich, Right Reverend Christopher Chessunand and Mayor of Lewisham Sir Steve Bullock
More then 250 people witnessed the institution and induction of Canon Michael Anthony Hart at St John the Baptist Church, Bromley Road, Catford.
He is now team rector for the Catford, Southend and Downham team ministry, which includes St Mark’s Church and St Luke’s Church, both in Downham.
The Bishop of Woolwich, The Right Reverend Christopher Chessun officiated at the service with assistance from the Archdeacon of Lewisham, The Venerable Christine Hardman.
