The Bromley (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Order 2003 (Amendment No. **) Order 2010.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under Sections 6, 84(1)(c), (1A) & (2), 87 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by Section 8 of and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985 and all other enabling powers.

The effect of the Orders would be to:-
a) introduce variable speed limits in the roads specified in the Schedule to this notice;
b) introduce waiting restrictions as specified in the Schedule to this notice.

Details of prohibitions and exemptions for certain vehicles and persons are contained in the original Orders.

A copy of the proposed orders, of the plans of the scheme and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Orders can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, Kent.

ANY person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environment, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley, BR1 3UH, quoting reference ADE(TP)/RP/T100/549 not later than 5th May 2010.

Persons objecting to the proposed orders should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this Notice may be open to public inspection.

Schedule:-
VARIABLE SPEED LIMIT
20mph speed limit between 8.00am and 9.30am and between 2.30pm and 4.00pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive:-
BLENHEIM ROAD, Orpington, between the south western kerbline of Eldred Drive and the common boundary of Nos. 37 & 39.

ELDRED DRIVE, Orpington, between the south eastern kerbline of Tintagel Road and the common boundary of Nos. 16 & 18.

RAMSDEN ROAD, Orpington, between the common boundary of Nos. 34 & 36 and the common boundary of Nos. 62 & 64.

TINTAGEL ROAD, Orpington, between the common boundary of Nos. 57 & 59 and the common boundary of Nos. 112 & 114.

WAITING RESTRICTIONS
No Waiting At Any Time:-
GILLMANS ROAD, Orpington, (a) the west side, from a point 3m south of the southern kerbline of the rear access to Orpington Fire Station southwards for a distance of 15m; (b) the east side, from a point 7m south of the southern kerbline of Tintagel Road southwards to a point 1m south of the common boundary of Nos. 97 & 99.
