A UTILITY company will be starting a 12-week £100,000 gas main replacement project.
A total of 635m of polyethylene pipe will be laid in Beckenham Lane from Blythe Road to the junction of Shortlands Road, Shortlands.
Southern Gas Networks (SGN) will start the work on June 5 and a partial road closure could be necessary.
The project's network operations manager Drew Reynolds said: "We appreciate our work might cause some disruption, for which we apologise, but we will endeavour to keep this to the absolute minimum.
"We urge residents to continue to support local businesses during our work."
The project has been planned in conjunction with Bromley Council to ensure the impact of the work is kept to a minimum.
