HAVE you ever found a picture dating back to when you were at school and wondered what the people in the photograph are doing now?

Margaret Thompson from Penge recently discovered old photographs of her classmates at Charterhouse Road School For Girls.

The images are of girls in 1952 and 1953, when they were around 12 years old.

Margaret said: "Charterhouse Road School was the only secondary school in the area in the 40s and 50s.

"The building housed the boys' school at one end and the girls' school at the other.

"There were about 750 girls in the early 50s. They came from Bickley, Petts Wood, Orpington, Knockholt, Dunston Green and St Mary Cray."

One photo features two teachers, Miss Cronin and Miss Purnell.
