Jan Wade, who runs Eliza Wade Florist in Hayes, has received 75 nominations.
One of the nominators was Julie La Roche, of Kemsing Close, Hayes.
Mrs La Roche said: "As a florist she will always do things quickly for you. She's always got the time of day for you, old or young.
"She's quite well-known in the area even though she's only been there about three years."
Mrs Wade, who named the shop after her grandmother, said: "I am really pleased but a bit surprised."
The mother-of-one lectured at Bexley College before setting up the shop in Station Approach.
