Joan Morris, of Foxgrove Avenue, Beckenham, nominated Ernest Berger, who runs Ernest Berger Flowers in High Street, Beckenham.
Mrs Morris, who has been going to him for the past four or five years, says: "He has such beautiful displays outside on the pavement and inside unusual combinations of fruits and flowers according to the season.
"He is very personable, he's charming, welcoming."
Mr Berger, who has run the shop for six years, said: "If we are considered to be one of the best florists in the area, I am very delighted."
The 37-year-old said he had wanted to be a florist since he was 10.
