MATHS was made fun when a school was visited by TV personality Johnny Ball.
Pupils from Years 7 to 10 at Darrick Wood Secondary School, Lovibonds Avenue, Orpington, were visited by Mr Ball as part of their maths week.
Mr Ball became a household name for his shows Think of a Number and Johhny Ball Reveals All.
The mathematician gave a presentation where he discussed the everyday application of maths, technology and engineering.
And the construction of the pyramids and the movement of clocks were some of the subjects discussed.
Maths teacher Katharine Ward said: "The purpose of the talk was to make maths more accessible and it certainly worked.
"The school was buzzing for days after Mr Ball left."
