BANK staff dealt with a different kind of deposit after thinking a man was hiding in the building.
A police dog was used during a search of Barclays Bank, Station Square, Petts Wood, on May 26 but there were no signs of a suspect.
But the dog defecated on the floor before going back into his owner's van on May 26.
The officer at the scene of the incident jokingly suggested the person seen by the staff could have been a ghost because the bank is in quite an old building.
Customers were allowed into the bank at about 10.40am, just over an hour after it was scheduled to open.
