AN EVENT to inspire young writers is taking place in Deptford next month.
Our Words is a one-day event for writers aged 16 to 25 to develop their careers as authors, poets and playwrights.
The event is organised by Spread the Word, which works with London writers of all ages, whatever stage in their career to help them achieve their full potential.
The day includes a session offering fresh inspiration from leading writers, an opportunity to discuss ideas with other writers, advice from publishers, editors and theatres on how to get your work noticed and one-to-ones with experienced writers on how to improve work.
The event is taking place on June 3 at the Albany, Douglas Way, Deptford from 10.30am to 5pm.
