VISITORS to maritime Greenwich are in for a treat throughout the summer months.
The National Maritime Museum is running a series of events based around the theme of naval history.
Museum director Roy Clare kicked off the season by giving a behind-the-scenes tour of the main galleries.
Other events include an architecture week and an exhibit celebrating the 200th birthday of Isambard Kingdom Brunel.
Vistors to the museum in August will also be able to see rare first-edition copies of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic book Treasure Island.
