THE BrockleyMax festival kicks off this weekend.
The nine-day event, which is in its fourth year, starts on Saturday, outside Brockley Station, Coulgate Street, Brockley.
Singers and performers will be giving their all to cheer up weary commuters.
Other gigs next week will include Alice Renouf, Blakespeare and Cosmic Sausages.
There will also be film, theatre and poetry events.
BrockleyMax, which is supported by Lewisham Council, aims to provide opportunities for the community to get involved.
Festival organiser Moira Tait said: "There will be events throughout the festival week, including music, art, dance, comedy, poetry and theatre plus the ever-popular children's ark in the park event on June 10."
