POLICE tackling football hooliganism have arrested 16 people in a series of dawn raids.
The arrests, on May 25, were made by officers from Operation Devine, a new crackdown on violence at Millwall games.
Three people were arrested in Bexley Michael Stillwell, aged 20, of Bexley Lane, Crayford; Joseph Edwards, aged 19, of Hollingbourne Avenue, Bexleyheath, and Richard Lovett, aged 35, of Old Farm Avenue, Sidcup.
Two other arrests were made in Bromley Daniel Keable, aged 42, of Bromley Road, Beckenham, and a 17-year-old who cannot be named for legal reasons.
All five were charged with violent disorder, following incidents at matches against Crystal Palace and Wolves at The Den earlier this year.
They, along with 11 others, were due to appear at Greenwich Magistrates' Court today.
