HUNDREDS of people have paid their last respects to murder victim Jon Bartlett.
The funeral of the murdered mechanic, who owned a car repair business in Pembroke Road, Erith, was held at St Mary the Virgin Church, Wickham Street, Welling, followed by burial at the nearby Hillview Cemetery.
Mr Bartlett, 39, originally from Thamesmead, lived in Portland Road, Mottingham, and was shot dead on March 31 on Chislehurst Common. Police are still hunting for his killer.
Last week, more than 2,000 people turned out for a memorial football match at The Den, home of Millwall FC.
A minute's silence was held before the game and a raffle raised cash towards the cost of the funeral.
Although three men are on bail in connection with the investigation into Mr Bartlett's death, police are still appealing for help.
