CROWNING ceremonies have been taking place across the borough this month.
Seventeen-year-old Louise Hadley from West Wickham has been chosen as the next Miss Bromley.
The Hayes School pupil beat five other girls in the final at Bromley Little Theatre, North Street, Bromley.
She was judged to have the best personality, looks, speech, poise and dress sense.
May Queens are a part of May Day celebrations held to mark the coming of spring.
Sian Mounsey, 12, led the parade through Petts Wood last Saturday as the village's May Queen She helped to collect donations for charity Petts Wood Playgroup, which provides services to children with special needs.
Sian is a pupil at Newstead Wood School, Avebury Road, Orpington.
Hayes May Queen Georgia Sams, 10, was crowned at the Library Gardens, Hayes.
Afterwards she walked with her prince, crown bearer, banner bearer, attendants and fairies through the streets on a parade led by the Hayes Sea Cadets band.
Georgia goes to St Mary's RC Primary School, Westgate Road, Beckenham.
One May Queen, 15-year-old Rebecca Feddon, also delivers News Shopper.
The Priory School pupil was crowned Orpington May Queen in a ceremony held at the Priory Gardens, High Street, Orpington.
