A JUMBLE sale in aid of a new children's hospice has raised more than £400.
Demelza Hospice Care for Children saw around 100 people attend the nearly new Bargain Scramble held at St Mary Hall, High Street, Chislehurst.
All proceeds from the fundraising sale will go towards a new six-bed hospice the charity intends to build in Court Road, Eltham.
Planning permission has already been secured for the project, which will cost between £4m and £5m.
Charity volunteer Rosie Norris said: "We are very pleased with the funds raised and we are very grateful to everyone who came."
