PLANS are under way to inscribe a war memorial with the names of those who lost their lives in the Second World War.
The Farnborough War Memorial in St Giles The Abbot churchyard, Church Road, Farnborough, currently features the names of those who died in the First World War.
The Farnborough Village Society has formed a war memorial committee.
It is fundraising to include the details of villagers killed in active service between 1939 and 1945.
The committee has received a list of 32 names from the Commonwealth War Graves Commission of men reportedly from the village.
So far it has managed to confirm 26 of the names are former residents.
But it wants information on the following men: H Atkinson, N Burbeck, W Coombs, P Grinley, E F Reeves and R Roberts.
