POLICE are appealing for help in solving the "unexplained" death of a South African man found drowned in the River Thames.
The body of Levier van der Hoven was found on the shore at Caledonian Wharf, Tower Hamlets, on February 19.
Police believe the 20-year-old entered the river in Greenwich at around 2.45am the previous day after leaving the Up The Creek comedy club in Creek Road, Greenwich.
Officers believe he left the club around an hour-and-a-half earlier, telling his friends he was working the following day.
His death is currently unexplained and police want to talk to anyone who saw Mr Van Der Hoven before he died.
Call Limehouse CID on 020 7275 4681.
