Why did Clive Effoed (MP for Eltham) vote against the education bill currently passing through parliament?
The bill, supported by the vast majority of elected members - who firmly rejected Mr Efford's argument of disadvantage to some - is clearly designed to improve education standards in our schools and is one which the majority of Eltham parents, who have witnessed the woeful test results of Greenwich council schools over the past decade, would surely approve.
One has to wonder, was Mr Efford representing his constituents or himself?
