PUPILS studying tourism in developing countries have put on an exhibition of their work.

Orpington College students undertaking the BTEC National Diploma in travel and tourism have set up galleries focusing on the location, climate, attractions and accomodation offered in the current travel market.

The countries chosen, including Namibia, Vietnam and Estonia, are all non- mainstream destinations in the tourism industry.

Charlotte McNeil, 18, of Westhurst Drive, Chislehurst, based her project on Vinh City in central Vietnam.

She said: "The trend towards holidaying in more exotic, unexplored destinations is growing.

"Choosing a destination and getting the information was quite difficult."
