PHOTOGRAPH: On the front page of last week's Lewisham News Shopper we published a photograph of members of the Sydenham Society, incorrectly stating they were residents unhappy with the proposed development of the area. The society fully supports the development. News Shopper is happy to clarify this matter.
HOT STUFF: An exhibition will enable residents to find out how well their homes are insulated. A thermal map has been produced of all the housing in Greenwich to give a snapshot of how much energy is being wasted. The exhibition is being held at the Woolwich Regeneration Agency, Thomas Street, Woolwich from 3pm to 7pm tomorrow and from 10am to 4pm on Friday.
FUNDING ADVICE: Voluntary groups in Lewisham have the chance to hear how they can get their hands on cash. Meet the Funders will be held tomorrow from 10am to 3.30pm at Lewisham Methodist Church in Albion Way.
IN CHARGE: American computer expert Bill Gaver has joined Goldsmiths College, New Cross, as its new Professor of Design. He will be responsible for leading a host of research projects.
BIG WINNER: Forest Hill resident Nicola Bushell has become the third person to win £500 in Lewisham's Green Box recycling lottery.
