A GRIEVING son is taking legal advice to try and stay at the family home now his father has died.
In last week's News Shopper we reported how Broomleigh Housing Association told Tom Jubb, 43, he might not be able to stay in his house in Kingsdown Way, Hayes.
His father Leslie, who suffered asbestosis, died on Saturday morning.
Tom said: "I have lost my mum and dad and now they are looking to make me move. I'm going to fight it."
A post-mortem examination will be held on 76-year-old Leslie on Friday.
A Broomleigh spokesman said: "At present the situation stands as before. We're sorry to hear of his news and we will help him in every way we can within housing law.
"We have got to look at his situation and find him somewhere suitable."
