A SCHOOL football team has a new matching kit thanks to the fundraising efforts of parents.
The team at Our Lady's Roman Catholic Primary School, King Edward Avenue, Dartford, used to play in normal sports clothes.
The school did not have the resources to provide a co- ordinating team strip.
But the school's Parent, Teacher and Friends' Association stepped in to provide a new kit.
It held several fundraising activities, including a Christmas fair and a quiz night, to raise £270 to buy the team matching tops, shorts and socks.
