SHOPPING no longer needs to be a chore for parents, with one mall offering free storytelling sessions to children of all ages.
To celebrate International Children's Book Day on April 2, The Glades shopping centre in Bromley will provide three weeks of literary entertainment over the Easter period.
Children's storytellers will bring to life tales of Elvis the Cat and Buddy the Dog, The Very Sleepy Sloth, Og the Dog and On a Tall, Tall Cliff, all written by Bromley author Andrew Murray.
The sessions will take place in the lower mall, opposite the Disney store, on weekdays from April 3 to April 21.
Stories will be read every hour on the hour from 11am to 4pm.
