ICT AWARD: St Paulinus CofE Primary School, Iron Mill Lane, Crayford, has become one of the first schools in the country to receive the new ICT mark for its use of Information and Communication Technology. The mark is given by the Government's British Education Communications and Technology Agency.

BATTLE OF THE SEXES: Erith Rugby Football Club, based at Northumberland Heath recreation ground in Sussex Road, Northumberland Heath, is using a women versus men rugby match to fundraise for a club member diagnosed with cancer. The match takes place on April 22 at 2pm.

READ ON:Visitors to Blackfen Library have increased 244 per cent since it moved to Blackfen Road. The number of active borrowers has increased from 3,403 in April 2005 to 5,192 in February this year.
