A MAN murdered at his home in Plumstead has been identified by police.
Kevin Beckingham, 35, was found dead at his flat in Nithdale Road at 10.45am on March 7.
A post-mortem examination held the following day confirmed he died from stab wounds to his neck.
Officers believe Mr Beckingham had been dead for several days when he was found on the floor of his living room.
He lived in sheltered accommodation and his body was discovered by one of his carers.
Mr Beckingham suffered from epilepsy, was partially sighted and had a bone disorder.
His death is being treated as murder and detectives are trying to establish his last movements.
Investigating officer Chief Inspector David Brown said: "If you visited Kevin, spoke to him on the phone or saw him away from his home in recent weeks we would like to hear from you as soon as possible."
