YOUNG bookworms pitted their wits against each other during a test of their literary knowledge.
Teams from seven schools in Lewisham took part in the annual Schools' Book Challenge, held at Lewisham Civic Suite.
The teams had to answer 80 questions on book-related topics, ranging from fantasy and animals to classics.
The competition, which co-incides with World Book Day, was won by a team from Sedgehill School, Sedgehill Road, Lewisham.
The winning team was presented with a trophy, engraved with the name of its school.
