RESIDENTS have given a council the thumbs-up on rubbish but the thumbs-down on crime in an annual survey.
Greenwich Council's residents' survey reveals eight out of ten people are happy with refuse collection in the borough.
More than 70 per cent of those asked praised the council for the way it relays information to residents.
Most of the 1,001 residents quizzed also gave their approval to recycling and leisure services.
But the survey also shows a nine per cent increase in the number of people who say they are concerned about crime, compared to last year.
Council leader Councillor Chris Roberts said: "We are delighted to have done well in the survey but are determined to provide an even better service for residents over the next 12 months."
"It is pleasing we have rated so highly across such a wide range of key services, especially as it is based entirely on the views of the people who use them."
