A TALENT competition was held in a bid to bring together young people from different housing estates.
More than 30 acts auditioned to win a part in the final of the Unity in the Community project, organised by Dartford YMCA.
Each performance was assessed by a panel of judges, before the 10 finalists took to the stage at The Mick Jagger Centre, Shepherds Lane, Dartford.
Acts included singers, MCs and a human beat-box.
Each act had to be based around the theme of unity.
Youth Project Manager Garnet Johnson said: "It went well. The winner, Michelle Franz, has won the opportunity to record a number of tracks and produce an album."
