A PERFORMING arts student is hoping to play to a packed house to raise money for a hospital.
Shane Hampsheir, 17, is rehearsing for the show at the Mick Jagger Centre, Shepherds Lane, Dartford.
The keen musician, who has been playing guitar for the past five years, will perform songs spanning six decades by artists including Buddy Holly, Queen and Robbie Williams.
All the cash raised from the April 28 gig will go to Darent Valley Hospital, Darenth Wood Road, Dartford.
Shane will be accompanied on stage by eight dancers from Reynolds Performing Arts Stage School, Bexley, where he studies musical theatre.
He said: "Anyone coming to the show will have an excellent night, it will be just as good as they would expect from any of the big names. I love performing and they will go away with a smile on their face."
