HUNDREDS of residents lined the streets and enjoyed the craic at a St Patrick's Day celebration.
Visitors to Lewisham town centre were treated to traditional Irish music and dancing as the St Patrick's parade came to town.
The annual parade kicked off the week-long Lewisham Irish Festival, which will see a range of events held to celebrate Gaelic culture.
This includes a comedy night tomorrow at the Lewisham Irish Centre, Davenport Road, Lewisham.
The event, which starts at 8.30pm, will feature performances from former Perrier award nominee Owen O'Neil and Irish comics John Ryan and Jeremy O'Donnell.
The borough's libraries are also marking the festival with a week of Irish-themed activities for children.
