VISITORS can visit a 13th-century chapel and watch a display of Morris dancing at an open garden event for charity.

Dartford-based Ellenor Shining Lights, which provides help for children with life-threatening illnesses, has announced its first open garden event for this year.

St John's Jerusalem, Main Road, Sutton-at-Hone, will open its gates to help the charity between 2pm and 5pm on April 2.

As well as the chapel and dancers, visitors will be able to wander through gardens next to the River Darenth and relax with tea and cake.

Tickets for the event cost £2 and can be bought from the venue.

All of the money raised will be used towards caring for the 80 children supported by the charity.
