WORK has begun on a new road layout at the junction of Danson Lane and Danson Crescent, Welling, after consultation with residents.
The work, which should be finished by the end of this week, will include the installation of a speed table across the junction, to slow down traffic and double yellow lines around the junction to prevent parking.
The pavements will be reconstructed and minor drainage works will also be carried out.
Traffic has had to be diverted temporarily to put in the speed table but there are diversion signs to direct traffic to alternative routes.
