VOLUNTEERS are needed for Bexley's home library service which visits 200 homes every month for people who are housebound.
Run jointly by the borough's library service and the Women's Royal Voluntary Service, it provides contact with the outside world as well as free delivery of books, talking book cassettes and CDs.
People do not need to be a library member to receive the service.
The service is also looking for more volunteers and drivers would be particularly welcome. Mileage is paid.
To become a volunteer or to sign up for the service, call Elaine Lapham on 020 8309 4165 or email Elaine.Lapham@bexley.gov.uk
