MOTOR-MAD artist Brian Casey is the latest to display his work at the Drayman Gallery in Bexleyheath Broadway.

Mr Casey, 47, from Erith, has been following motorsport since he was a boy and has managed to turn his hobby into a full-time job.

He used to spend his spare time at races taking photographs which he hoped to use for future commissions.

But Mr Casey's career as an artist took off after Damon Hill became Grand Prix world champion in 1996 and he produced a tribute montage painting.

He followed this with a similar piece featuring Michael Schumacher.

Since then he has exhibited at races across the country as well as at Donnington Motor Museum.

Married with one daughter, Mr Casey is also a successful portrait artist specialising in horse and other pet studies and some of his work is currently being exhibited in the USA.

His motorsport exhibition is on display in the cocktail bar at the Drayman through Bexley Arts Council, and will be on show until April 10.
