HOSPITAL bosses are trying to end myths about dodgy hospital food by inviting patients in for a free taste test.
Members of the Greenwich Pensioners' Forum visited Queen Elizabeth Hospital last week to sample the daily menu for patients.
The hospital, in Stadium Road, Woolwich, has developed specific menus to suit the dietary needs of individual patients.
Hospital services manager Clive Aylett says it invited the pensioners in after a recent meeting with forum members was dominated by fears about hospital food.
Pensioners' forum member Ron White said: "We are very impressed by the hospital's open attitude."
