A GROUP of London colleges and universities in the south east are joining forces next week to run events preparing students for job opportunities which are arising as a result of London's successful Olympic bid.
Explore 2012! will run between February 27 and March 3 and include five different events based on Olympic themes.
These are tourism and hospitality, sport and fitness, urban development, media and marketing and business and IT.
Every event includes talks from experts and workshop leaders from 10 different universities and colleges and practitioners from relevant businesses and organisations.
Explore 2012! is being developed by Aspire (Aimhigher South East London) and aims to bring together staff, students, parents and resources in six London boroughs to encourage young people to access further and higher education and maximise their chances in life.
