MORE nocturnal creatures could soon be winging their way into the borough thanks to a bat morning.
Friends of White Hall Rec (FWHR) held the event to try and encourage more bats into Bromley.
Visitors to Bromley Common Bowls Club, Pope Road, Bromley, learned how to make their gardens bat-friendly and were given bat boxes to take home.
Children also took part in the fun by drawing and painting pictures of bats.
FWHR spokesman Jason Glen said: "We are trying to improve the biodiversity in the park.
"Bats are our focus this month but we are also going to be doing stag beetle events and bird box events."
Teams of people from the group were also out on the recreation ground picking up litter.
FWHR is planning a bat walk later in the year to see if they have been successful in increasing the number of bats in the area.
